On the eve of moving out of this apartment, I think I learned why the internet from this local ISP is so bad on my PC — looks like it only has enough throughput for like one major task? So if I'm updating a game on Steam, web pages will fail. If I'm on a Discord call, game update speeds tank.

I was being real sarcastic with this, but the big refactor I did around the save managers did in fact remove all of the massive frame rate drops whenever the auto save triggered, which is awesome.
I have chopped and screwed my game's save data logic seven different ways to Sunday, but let's not forget what it's all for: a 0.05% increase in efficiency and ever so slightly more legible code.

Of all the things that interested me in that Nintendo Direct, I think new Mario Kart World rallies ranks at the top. I still play a round or two of Knockout Mode pretty much every day.

Experiences can't be measured solely in the time you spent experiencing them! Allow yourself to be a complex creature that weights multiple aspects of something in how it affects you.
I blocked someone who quoted and went ONLY 17 HOURS FOR THE PRICE OF A NEW GAME?

The way people value games is absolutely unhinged.

A movie ticket costs like 20-25 bucks nowadays, its 2 hours long.

You're paying 20 a month for a streaming service you watch 3 shows on.

17 hours is A LOT OF TIME
And that's a wrap on STAR WARS: ZERO COMPANY

Great game! Fun as hell, challenging but not obnoxious, really solid story and cast, and didn't overstay it's welcome at a nice 17 hour playtime with all the option companion storylines complete.

Technical bugs drag it down from ALL TIME bit still rules

The Watchmen show on HBO was so effing good, and I feel like it should be better regarded than it is. They took one of the greatest literary works of all time and made an equally momentous sequel in the form of a show, and we should talk about that more.
