"A nice person to sit in front of"
Low on the list of dumb/bad things this admin. is doing, but what is the point of this? Sure, let's force low-paid workers to stand all day for no reason all. www.cnn.com/2026/09/29/u...

Actually didn't know that he'd been cosplaying here as humble Maine fishing village guy. That Times piece might lead to more protesters.
John Roberts' friend and defender is quoted in the piece, saying they shouldn't be shaming Roberts for the wreckage and ruin he's brought to this country because of "civility."

The bullies always cry "civility" when the victims push back in the slightest.
Public anger comes for John Roberts

The chief justice’s summer retreat in Maine used to be one of boating, potluck dinners, touch football and easy friendships. Locals called him “John.”

Now a swirl of anger has been rising at him, transforming his getaways. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/01/u...

Even *I* know the difference between the Hawks and the Hawkeyes and I don't even watch college sports. Though to be fair, that might only be because of @dweeze.bsky.social. (On the other hand, I can read, so I can see that Hawkeyes has a different number of letters than Hawks.)

I am going to the Pats-Jets game in three weeks with my brother and the Patriots had better clean up their act before then or we are going to have a problem. (The problem is I will sad and/or mad.)

If you're looking for some bad football to watch, may I suggest Pats-Jags?

This is the dumbest thing in the world. The fraud is that people are paying for insurance and they’re… healthy?
Dr Oz says the Trump administration will kick more than a million people off health insurance because some of them have "never filed a claim"

Saw Asante Samuel in the game and was like, wow, I can't believe he's still in the league. And then I googled him and found out it's his son. Didn't make me feel old at all.

They're going to spend the next 2 days trying to paint Democrats as extremists based on some interviews the DSA gave Fox News. But here's the proof that, when they actually get enough power, Republicans are the ones with the radical vision that would destroy society.

I have no love for the Sununu family, but it is very funny to see Scott Brown get his ass handed to him. Maybe in a few years he can find yet another state to lose in.
The field is set for the New Hampshire Senate race.

The AP has called the Democratic primary for Chris Pappas and the GOP primary for John Sununu. Both as expected.
