Highly recommend the novelization by @echohorror.com which leans into what a great love story it is and what amazing lore it has. It’s a glorious film. One of my inspirations
VAMP opened OTD in 1986, its greatest special effect being the über-exotic Grace Jones as a strip club vampire who feeds upon her young, hunky clientele. A box office dud att that bears more than a passing resemblance to FROM DUSK TILL DAWN. Director Wenk would become a top action screenwriter.
