For every like this gets, I'll give you a fact about Space: 1999.

Have the first one for free!

1) Sylvia Anderson supposedly wanted a more vulnerable commander of Moonbase Alpha who didn't always have the answers to every situation. Robert Culp was a preferred choice of actor.

Seems weird the whole "are you ready for war if it happens" thing the government is pushing when clearly we've been at war via misinformation, funding far right hate groups, attacking British institutions and so forth for ages. A better question is "when is the government going to do something?"

I've had some more thoughts on this; I want to change the title of the game to 'Away Team' and have it specifically for small-party missions to worlds or other vessels.

Basically a Star Trek-themed one-shot dungeon crawl game, with one page maps/adventures for the teams to experience.
Here's a short Star Trek TTRPG I played with a while ago. Have fun with it.

A big villain in Andor is paperwork. It’s such a cold allegory for how people get crushed in the real world. You aren't being fought by a "dark side," you’re being deleted by an efficient clerk who wants a promotion. It makes the Empire feel way more dangerous and present. The monster is here now! 👊

Alan Moore & Melinda Gebbie's "This is Information" from the 2002 9/11 Tribute Anthology comic is one of my favorite comics ever – its metaphorical approach to narrative had a profound influence on my comics making. I share bits of it in class frequently, but worth revisiting on this day...

An RNLI lifeboat guy here, and as I’ve been saying for many years now: why is it that the public have been subjected to hate campaigns against hated enemies including rescue services, Stonewall, Amnesty International, the left of the Labour Party, the National Trust, the Proms and Match of the Day?
