Open AI has hired Chuck Schumer's daughter to help them with government relations. I don’t like it one bit, and this kind of thing is a big part of the reason top Democrats have done such a poor job of turning the Trump family’s far more extreme corruption into an election issue.

(1/x) I was intrigued by what Thomas observed when comparing retraction rate by publisher, so I looked at the 3300 reports I filed over the last 2 years. Here is what I found. More thoughts on this below.

for me, the dems appear to be in the same place as when harris ran in 2024: we have no clear idea about what they will do when they are in power. Will they abolish ICE, impeach all the trump appointees, etc.? And it is of course intentional. and demoralizing.

In an interesting little tidbit, the Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide tells the Times of Israel that Biden would have reacted more harshly and taken more aggressive action against countries sanctioning Israeli settlements in the West Bank than Trump.

NYT has now independently corroborated all the major allegations against Susan Collins in the ProPublica report, including that investigators were prepared to move against her and then Trump intervened to shut it down. This put Trump in a position of exceptional and extortionate leverage over her.
