I mostly repost art I like. I like movies and video games too.
And comic books.
And normal books.
And Pokémon. I like Pokémon.

Sometimes I draw.

I don't mind boosting/reposting your artwork, especially if you're black/indigenous/ from an underrepresented community.

Came here to check BlueSky. And I am still not degrading NPR specifically. More just upset with their lack of funding. I am specifically degrading, you, however

Card of the day: THE ALIEN. We represent the originally-unaired Star Trek pilot film on two bonus cards. Our bonus The Alien card suggests the pending arrival of some type of surprise that can come with many layers.

Supergirl I had so many problems with this film. Main ones were that none of the women other than supergirl had any agency and the non white women were either sympathetic antagonists, villains, or people to be saved. This really should've been directed by a woman. Or co directed, at least. Also the plot and pacing were all over the place. This all added up to be a very mediocre film- I can enjoy a mediocre film but this one had no personality; like there is no reason I'd want to watch this film again. Also, the longer it went on the more I had to mentally disassociate with the film because there were so many plot holes. In addition: Cgi wasn't good Plot was iffy Antagonist didnt have enough oomph or a real reason for doing things Mc wasn't really likeable, side character wasnt either Side character was horribly annoying, to the point that I feel bad for the actress. Mc was preachy Pacing was bad They kept nerfing the mc for no reason A point in the 2nd act was there for no reason It was boring The music was bad. It was so 40 year old white people coded. 1/5 Night of the living dead 90 Liked the quick and intense start. Rest of it was relatively mediocre until the last 15 or so minutes, which were interesting. I hated the music synthesizers they used for the background track. 3.2/5 The fly Liked(was disturbed by) the existential horror.  First act was a bit boring. 3.3/5 The bone temple One of the best horror movies I've seen. First scene was better than most movies and did an amazing job at setting the tone. The characters themselves pushed things along and what made the movie for me is the character dynamics; each featured character was acting in different ways and all had believable reasons for acting the way they did. Not sure if most people would like it because it isn't a stupid zombie movie, a light horror comedy, or pretentious Oscar bait. 4/5

Some doodles from the last few weeks! 🌟
Drawing has been hard!

#art #digitalart #Procreate #BlackArt
The image depicts a black-and-white drawing/lineart of a Black woman with coily hair from the shoulders up. Her face and body are in three-fourths view; her head is tilted slightly down. She turned slightly to the viewer's left. She is smiling gently at something (or someone) off-screen. Her hair is loose and natural, curls touching her shoulders. The image depicts a work-in-progress drawing/lineart in the Procreate app. The drawing depicts a Black girl with two large afro puffs. Though she's facing the viewer, her eyes are turned upward and pointed to the viewer's right. She is wearing a neutral expression and looking at something off-screen. She is wearing a pair of large star-shaped earrings.

A watercolor painting of Long Nose the jester, above the miasma tainted sky, scaffolds stretch along the form of a decaying man of colossal embodiment, its portrait is grotesque and his head severed, it floats above his shoulders, crowned.
