GOOD NEWS! A new cancer treatment has demonstrated unprecedented results in a large trial for cancer patients whose disease has become resistant to chemotherapy AND immunotherapy. Tumors shrank in OVER a third of participants, with 15 patients experiencing COMPLETE eradication of their tumors.

This person told me that they love their queer grandchild very much. I wonder how they, a conservative married to a representative who has gleefully eliminated DEI in my state, feel about the administration now that it has removed Title IX protections for queer students.
Bit the bullet and sent a message to someone I personally know who's married to a conservative rep. I know and have met both of them, which made their descent into MAGA so disturbing.
It might be pointless, but I hope hearing from someone they once knew shifts something. Anything's worth trying.

A relative found some really old videos, some of which included my mom. It has been so, so long since I've heard her voice and seen her smile.
And one of the first videos I saw of my beautiful, wonderful, amazing late mother was of her giving the finger to a relative.

I wish many more people understood that being neurodivergent doesn't mean you can't say or do things that are bigoted or harmful. Some of the most racist and hateful things I've been told came from other neurodivergent folks.

I can't get my prescription from the pharmacy I like anymore (without paying ridiculous prices) because it isn't one of my insurance's 'preferred' pharmacies (i.e., a chain they have a contract with).

If you're able, please consider leaving Twitter, or at least using it less. There is no good corporation out there, and Twitter does have a larger base, but it has also explicitly become a refuge for white supremacists, transphobes, and other pathetic, hateful kinds of people.
