I think you're right, unfortunately. I really hope more people take the time to introspect and question the ideas they're fed, especially when those ideas say that people don't deserve rights/protections.

(To clarify, I don't want harm to come to this person or their family! It's just astonishing (and heartbreaking) that so many people claim to have so much care for the people around them, but do not mind supporting policies that threaten the lives of their family, friends, and neighbors.)

It's so easy to say that you love the people around you. It's so easy to say you love BIPOC and queer lives. But when you actively vote against their very existence, you reveal that your love is hollow and hypocritical.

It's been a while since I laughed and cried so hard. It's funny seeing someone so precious to you at *your* age.

Please, please cherish your memories. Take pictures! Record things! Live in the moment! I'm so glad someone filmed these mundane moments. They're worth more than gold to me.
