We’ve got a lengthy list of players they pursued. Contact is not the issue, it’s the ability to close a deal. From sound of it, real budget came very late in process and they basically ran out of time. Frustrating to say the least.
Hope it works out. But … typical Waibel signing. Get a guy in MLS whose stock is down, & hope that Schmetz and good vibes in the clubhouse can fix it. Do we even have any contacts with agents who work with players abroad? Or did they all disappear (along with credibility) once Chris Henderson left?
