Historian friend was reading a civil war era letter in an archive, the letter said “In this envelope I include my smallpox scabs” and sure enough there they were. Had to call CDC for a hazmat team.

What a great article. I’ve decided I officially need to be part of the J Benetti fan club. There are so many horrible things happening right now but listening to #tigers rain delays is worth the price all because of JB (and to be fair-the rest of the crew as well). Joy still exists.
