This is quite serious. Due to vaccinations and prior mortality, the acute effects of infection are often less obviously apparent in 2026. It's a testament to the high transmission.

just fyi if there are any folks out there with *a lot* of extra time and energy, the charter says that a franchise transfer is subject to the referendum, which means you have "30 calendar days after date ordinance passed by City Council" to get 28,335 signatures.
