I've seen hype cycles you people wouldn't believe. AI in the 1980s, natural language 4GLs, ecommerce, service buses, big data, and many more. I watched CTOs quiver with the latest FOMO. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time for disillusionment.

A few scientific facts.
Covid is a multi-system disease with sequelae in all organs.
SARS-CoV-2 didn't not disappear; actually a new variant is on the rise in multiple countries (PJ.2.1). It's not endemic.
SARS-CoV-2 is airborne, namely it can spread and linger in the air a bit like cigarette smoke.

lol my flight got diverted because of a medical emergency and they landed us in reykjavik in the middle of the night and deplaned us and sent us through passport control and then the crew vanished and then british airways sent us links to book an overnight hotel room but for a hotel at heathrow
