I've been attending and or working for this festival since the second one. The Harm Reduction, testing, and medical care is really a huge success story. The low number of deaths at such a large event has got to be a statistical anomaly by now.

This is Mike's partner Sylvia Fuller - I am so sorry to say that Mike was found unresponsive while mountain biking yesterday and died despite the best efforts of other riders and Squamish EMS. Thank you to Squamish Search and Rescue for carrying him out and taking care of our dog. We are shattered

I think this is a valid point for everyone. The entire objective of all this is conversations, right? Risk of misunderstanding is quite high.
A reminder, if you're even a moderately big account -- *never, ever*, no matter how stupid you think a take is, quote-skeet it to dunk it. Past a certain size account (a size I'm past and I'm far from a big account) doing this will ruin someone's day or possibly life, for no benefit to you.

It’s worth noting that Taco Bell identified the source before the FDA did, and promptly pulled it from their stores. The FDA didn’t even name the source until Taylor Farms outed themselves, and hasn’t issued a recall. Basically, Taco Bell is now a more reliable authority than the FDA.
