Asking from a position of ignorance and hoping somebody ( @ehbinmn.bsky.social maybe? Somebody else?) can tell me what happens if they DON'T come to a resolution on the property tax levy.
BET deadlock on the property tax levy tonight. They will come back at a later date before the end of September deadline to satisfy the demands of hostage taker Eric Harris Bernstein.
Bernstein: 4% isn't a fair compromise for parks, but I do imagine there's a number we can all agree to. Pass this large levy along with some public statements on how to deal with MPD spending, restore general fund balance, and collecting revenues.
