I got well-ackshully'd by my watch in class today.
I failed to turn off the "talk to Gemini by raising your hand to your mouth" thing. It never works but it triggers sometimes writing on the blackboard.
I said "the drive's read head parks" and my watch burst out "THAT IS CALLED THE ACTUATOR"

I got well-ackshully'd by my watch in class today.

15 years ago today my home shook as a bomb went off a few blocks away. July 22. broke something in all Norwegians. As so many others I attended a funeral. My kids second cousin, who I might’ve briefly met at a family reunion a few years earlier, was killed at Utøya.

to be clear yes i one hundred percent mandating that every data center construction permit require doing this
a corn farm uses about two feet of water per crop, so four days of data center is one year of corn farm. all of google is less than a hundred corn farms. so for the exact same* water usage, we could replace a hundred corn farms with solar panels and prairie restoration. and it’s not even edible corn
