I feel so bad for rats. Just because they acted as transport for the vectors that caused one of the deadliest disease outbreaks in recorded human history ONE TIME (a couple of times actually, just less virulent), they are feared by so many people but they're actually so adorable ;_; 💜🐀

I feel so bad for rats. Just because they acted as transport for the vectors that caused one of the deadliest disease outbreaks in recorded human history ONE TIME (a couple of times actually, just less virulent), they are feared by so many people but they're actually so adorable ;_; 💜🐀
I am in an odd state.
I took a nap just before 1 pm and just woke up a few minutes ago. Now my mind feels very disorganized and lacking energy and focus. It would be best if I just kept sleeping until morning, but I am unable to get back to sleep because I have slept so much.

I'm currently rewatching X-Files (and posting about each episode near-daily, shameless self promotion) and the 20+ episode TV season drove such amazing creative innovations you'll never see in another model. They invented a vast years-long story arc almost by accident, Season 1 was pure standalones!
More importantly still, part of what makes TV a distinctive art form, and not just a longer running form of cinema or a more portable version of theatre, are the expediencies that come from having to get it out in time.
A new report from Luminate has found that long gaps between seasons of streaming TV shows are leading to major losses in viewership.
More than a 1 year gap is seen to largely cause a significant loss in viewership.
