I have never once dragged or piled on WS before, but this is an absolutely fucked-up take. rather than considering that a marginalized group may have a very different perspective & experiences than you, smear them all as a "cult" of sorts instead. that way you can dismiss their opinions en masse
ever since @eleanor.lockhart.contact pointed out to me that a lot of online trans discourse has the dynamics of a high-control group, I can't stop seeing it. "you can only trust your brothers and sisters in the group" is a tried-and-true social control mechanism

I can tell you why Dems keep losing. They keep thinking believing that the far left will care enough about kitchen table issues to vote. Once they realize that the far left is a waste of time and start courting moderates and independents, they’ll win again.
