Using Claude science for a « in silico » structural biology project.
Definitely very useful to automate processing pipelines and data processing.
But makes a lot of errors and is going in the wrong direction if not carefully guided and monitored. To be handled with great care

Here is the problem with IA leadership. One day they say something that seems reasonable (regulation, safeguards), and the next something completely nuts…
It shows that these people cannot be trusted to manage such a sensitive technology.

This is a massive scandal...
We should all check our antibody stocks and if the validation data appears faked/manipulated, we should ask for a refund. That's the least these companies could do.
A massive update: At least ~15 companies~ are selling scientists antibodies using faked validation data. We've documented 18,000+ manipulated images on 17,000+ products sold by leading laboratory suppliers including Thermo Fisher, Abcam, Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Millipore Sigma and Bio-Techne.
