Cost of living continues to grow & interest rates are crazy high.

Att inte Svenskt Näringsliv satt ner foten - det är ju trots allt dessa elever som de rent krasst ska tjäna pengar på i framtiden. Min take är att SN har gett upp idén om fabriker och forskning. Istället ser de mer (och enklare) pengar att driva bolag inom vård, skola och omsorg.
De senaste två åren har Academedia fört över 160 miljoner från Vittraskolorna. I utbyte har det svenska samhället fått undermålig matematikundervisning. Bra deal... för de utländska ägarna!

Not the same situation, but I’ve seen what I assume is more less the same trait at work more and more the last year or so. The kind of person that will talk nonstop for minutes in meetings, without it being a presentation, and even when the subject and forum calls for it being a back and forth.

Not the same situation, but I’ve seen what I assume is more less the same trait at work more and more the last year or so. The kind of person that will talk nonstop for minutes in meetings, without it being a presentation, and even when the subject and forum calls for it being a back and forth.

As a dev, I think one of the most stabilizing things I've done to my computer is devcontainers for most things. As long as I have VS code and docker I can just work in any of my repos. Also means I don't "need" to have 3 versions of postgres and 15 versions of ruby installed _somewhere_.
I think a big chunk of the "linux is hard" sentiment stems from the fact that most linux users do weird things with their computers. basically this:

I cannot express how much I loathe apps that have a monthly fee, unless it needs to pay for either content or infrastructure. That every other app on iOS is literally a scam doesn’t really help either.

I cannot express how much I loathe apps that have a monthly fee, unless it needs to pay for either content or infrastructure. That every other app on iOS is literally a scam doesn’t really help either.
