The Iran war has given BP its highest profits in 18 years.

It has cost US households $2,000, and UK households £2,400.

Emergency 📢 🚨

The recent UK storms have certainly done a number on one of our community apartments, and as a result, we are gunna need to unexpectedly pay for unbudgeted repairs in order to keep a trans person housed.

If you can, help us fund a new roof, please!

If you have a few quid to spare this payday, please help the Esse House team fix the storm damage to their trans social housing site in Scotland. We still need to find about £1500 to fully cover the required repairs and get our community member back into their home!

The UK does not have a welfare crisis, it has a greedy billionaire crisis.

No, Labour was established to represent the interests of the working class, but its easy to understand why a multi millionaire company boss would rather it didn't.

This helpful chart shows it's projected to rise by a whole 0.2 points of GDP over the next five years.

Remember, the UK welfare state is already the stingiest in Europe. It’s been subjected to forty years of constant cuts, inflated surveillance, punitive policing, media lies and politicians’ shaming. It keeps people on the breadline.

And the Labour Party wants to shrink it further.

Andrew Griffiths refusing to say what the % of GDP spent on welfare was at the start of this parliament ( 10.9% ) and using the shock cost £60bn rise by 2031/32.

Rick Edwards said you cant compare two different metrics. He said he'd come back with the figure and never does.

10.9% to 11.2% Andrew.
