Had a moment of heartbreak when I thought about a character in @kateelliottsff.bsky.social 's Furious Heaven who's a ghost to his own people, and how his grandmother knew why and sent him away anyway.

We had 400% more snow this past December than the 30 year average. This will not affect 2030 Worldcon because it usually does not snow in August in Edmonton.
