That's the video closing in on 600 views now - which doesn't sound like a lot in the grand scheme of things on YouTube, but it's a lot more than my niche nonsense usually gets.

Please give it a watch, a like, maybe even a comment and help me overcome the big stinky algorithm.

Doing my best to keep a monthly gig, but I lose 1/3rd+ of it to rideshares. My Mint mobile plan renews annually, so I need to spend $200 in a couple of weeks. Everything adds up and shares could really help me out! My Venmo is MirandaBrave if you'd prefer no fee. <3 I'm trying real hard.

Just imagined one of those 'split' EPs where bands cover each other's songs, but it's Henry Rollins covering 'Trouble' by Shampoo, and in return, they cover 'Liar'.

Obviously doesn't carry the same meaning with me being on the other side of the ocean, but a friend of a friend seeing me out in Glasgow, running up screaming that New York had been attacked then adding "IT'S HAPPENING, IT'S THE COMMIES" was literally how I found out 9/11 happened.
always mystified by the suggestion that Gen Z and younger were the ones who disrespectfully turned 9/11 into a meme. i was at a school in NJ where classmates lost parents, didn't know if my own dad was okay, you could see Ground Zero from a nearby hill, and the lads were cracking jokes by lunchtime

It'd be easy to look at this and go "Yeah they're dicks, but "one hit wonder" isn't really true", but then I remember that even in their home country where they were most successful, most people would struggle to name more than three songs by them.
The Proclaimers: "we don't care if our new transphobic anti-woke album ends our careers"

My dudes, you are a 64 year old Scottish one hit wonder.

A thing to remember is that most wrestlers - even the ones with good intentions - are dumb at best, and dangerous idiots at worst.

It's sad to see Keith slide into the latter by promoting this crap.
Uhhh…Keith Lee posting something…disturbing today.

When I saw @robbotron.bsky.social at the Fringe this year, he pointed out a dude in the audience who looked like Langley, and staggeringly few people in the audience got it.

Sometimes, shit just makes you feel old.

It's not always common in wrestling, but Andy Williams was one of those guys that just everyone liked. Everyone spoke highly of him, ranging from his co-workers, fans who met him, artists who worked with him, everyone.

RIP The Butcher. Thoughts with his loved ones and everyone who knew him.

please help me secure a medium sketchy sometimes gig and keep my phone on! I'm trying to get back into regular movie coverage on my own + there's YEEEEARS, genuinely four or five years worth of writing for supporters! One off gets some, monthly supporters get it all!
hi, my annual prepaid phone plan is due soon (around $200) and I'm about to pay $50-60/day in rideshares to do a kind of trial period for a once monthly gig so I have soooome sort of income, so truly anything helps. 1 dollar = 1 second off of my emotional breakdown. Venmo is MirandaBrave. ily, bye.

This goes live in a little under 5 hours!

Worked hard on it (which largely means when editing it I had to listen to my own voice way more than I'd like to), and I think it's come out pretty cool.
Video documenting my Fringe adventures goes live tomorrow - Saturday, September 5th, 8pm UK/3pm Eastern.

Volunteering to be hypnotised several times, The Dark Room, an LGBTQIA+ cabaret, BONE MAN, lip-syncing to Celine Dion, and more.

Be sure to tune in!

Kind of maddening that there was just a Cope and Christian match when MCMG were in the building. #AEWAllIn

I'd just like to point out that if it wasn't for people talking about how much Bill Maher sucks, I'd still never have heard of him.

I blame all of you for foisting the knowledge of him upon me, unwanted.
Bill Maher doesn’t grasp the concept of “beloved entertainer.” “But I’m too edgy to be beloved” George Carlin was edgy. So was Richard Pryor. They were beloved and deeply mourned. You’re just a dick, Bill. Only assholes will be sorry when you’re gone.

This happened in Edinburgh yesterday too - Bon Jovi was doing a gig, and one of the hotels in town was just surrounded by folk.

Genuinely think folk who do this belong on a watchlist.
Massive pile of people been standing outside the Hilton for hours. Since I got here 6 hours ago. I despise this. Just waiting to annoy people. If you see them out and about, fine but, camp outside the hotel with bags of merchandise? Sorry but, you’re a cunt.

Volunteered at a stage hypnosis show during the Fringe the other night. We got given the suggestion to imagine the audience naked. Most giggled, averted their gaze, etc.

I am staring directly at my partner @kaiju-womble.bsky.social, and my gaze did not budge an inch.

This is 'Pass the Ammo' - a lesser known Tim Curry film (which only ever got released on VHS and Laserdisc) from the late 80's.

Tim plays a corrupt televangelist whose church is being robbed. It also stars Bill Paxton, Linda Kozlowski, and Annie Potts.

It's an absolute blast, check it out!

If I was flicking channels, and there was one that had these two on it, there's a fairly reasonable chance I'd just throw my TV out the window and abandon the medium entirely.

Everyone is (rightly) lauding Peter Cullen for his work on Transformers - he's synonymous with it.

This is the intro for a largely forgotten cartoon called 'Vytor, the Starfire Champion'. Wait for Peter Cullen's voice to come in during it, it RULES.

To the preacher dickhead in Edinburgh today who was harassing some teenage lassies trying to get to the Lorde gig today.

My partner @kaiju-womble.bsky.social is the one who squared up to you for that, and she'll throw you into the fucking road for that next time.

(Proud of you x)
