A new survey commissioned by No Patents on Seeds in 5 EU countries found that over 80% of respondents reject patents on plants/animals.

The French Socialist & Democrat MEP @christopheclergeau.bsky.social plans to introduce amendments to the new GMOs (NGT) legislation—pencilled in for a vote at the end of May plenary session—to change the language on patents, to avoid “more dependency, less choice and higher prices” for farmers.
