I did a little bit of consulting on this project, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product! I'll be at the event at the British Museum on December 4th, providing play-by-play commentary on a digital refight of the battle and just hanging out.

I have been doing monopose orcs (and goblins) for Orctober. I don't think I'll ever play them in WHFB -- it's a lot of work -- but I might make a fun little Dragon Rampant army with them. Mostly monopose plastic guys and then a few metal models I have lying around as champions etc.

At some point next year, I am going to take a vacation and just not do Monster Man for a week. I realise nobody cares but me, but I feel hugely preemptively guilty any time I don't release an episode. I take off one week a year at the moment.

Writing this episode of Monster Man, I was like "you know who would make a good group of investigators in a Call of Cthulhu game? A volunteer fire department in a small town" and then I suddenly remembered that I played in a Call of Cthulhu game where we were volunteer firefighters in rural Oregon.
