I was initially skeptical of the claim that the UAE, Qatar, PA et al were coordinating in order to strategically release as much damaging information to Netanyahu as possible prior to the Oct election but it seems undeniable now. Soft regime change attempt. Very funny.

Duma "elections" have started. It isn't who votes that counts, but who counts the votes.

I think most people who don't spend their time following post-conviction criminal proceedings would be shocked to learn that when prosecutors argue against granting new trials to people who say they are innocent, their most commonly used argument is that the exculpatory evidence is not “new.”

This is the type of AI disaster scenario that I ACTUALLY worry about.

(1) AI industry oversells the capabilities of its products to score fat government contracts.

(2) govt puts the AI in charge of critical shit.

(3) AI fucks up, because it has a nonzero error rate.

(4) shit, now we’re at war.
That’s a load-bearing assumption, Dr Strangelove. www.cnn.com/2026/09/18/p...

if they responded by never mentioning his name or anything he did ever again (including this pronouncement) he'd lose what little is left of his mind - so that's what I'd recommend

from now on & only if it's absolutely necessary, refer to him as "the duly-certified president" - otherwise ignore him

The guy with the 33% approval rating wants to put the GOP at the beck and call of widely hated tech oligarchs, and the response from Dems is to look for ways to help Republicans get distance from Trump by partnering with them on "bipartisan" bills that Trump will never sign.
It's baffling that Democrats aren't putting Trump right smack in the center of their messaging about AI. He wants to turn our country over to the tech oligarchs and he's putting us all in extreme danger in the process:

the Dem consultant class is made up of Republicans
If the Dem consultant class were just "following the polls" they'd be encouraging candidates to go hard against "ai," stop arming the Israeli regime and embrace impeachment.

They are doing the opposite, and their targeting of trans people is, likewise, about their own twisted ideology and cruelty.
