I produced a rap album for my friend RAFFFFFF. It’s out everywhere today. An Ordinary Life features songs about: burnout, being driven insane by short-form video algorithms, the healing powers of love, democracy falling apart, and spaghetti bolognese.

LONDON FRIENDS - a week today I’ll be down your way to celebrate the release of An Ordinary Life, a rap album I’ve made with my friend RAFFFFFF. 14 years ago we made a song about Gary Barlow so infectious that it ruined the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises for Fearne Cotton. Sorry Fearne.

“The biggest obstacle to national recovery is the entrenched self-deception of our elites”

said the overseas-based crypto billionaire to the Daily Telegraph, about his donation to a political party led by a former city trader who owns at least 5 properties mortgage-free

The proliferation of late-night coffee houses and dessert parlours is heartening for this reason
As a non-drinker, my social life would have been improved throughout my life if there were more places where you could get tea and biscuits late at night.
Went out last night with childhood friends. Ended up in a basement “shop” which sold cups of tea and whole PACKETS of biscuits for £1 and had two pool tables (£1 a game) and was transported back to the times when we regularly did this as teenagers, mostly by the fact we were all still shit at pool.

Amazed (and slightly baffled) to say I’m playing at Ronnie Scott’s in November.

Come along if you like. Theo Croker’s on in the main room, so you can see his early show then come and watch me do… whatever it is I do.

Anyone want 2 tickets to see MOGWAI at the Brudenell on Saturday? They usually play venues 10 times the size these days

I do not understand how there is such little pushback against a worldview that has radicalised white English men to riot in the streets and the state to commit institutional violence against all migrants, so little condemnation of an attitude fundamentally at odds with basic human decency

Every time I start a new project I have this sinking feeling, like this is it: I’ve finally run out of ideas. Cue existential dread.

Then finally I come up with something halfway decent and it’s SUCH a thrill, and I remember what the point of it all was in the first place.

Music is fun, they said

This is how I found out this show exists - haven’t had Netflix for a long while.

Just spent a lovely 15mins reading all the dreadful reviews and imagining thin-skinned Gervais trying to pretend he doesn’t care what the woke snowflakes think. Delightful.
Oh Netflix. So you think so little of me?

I’m sorry but this whole thing must be some kind of tax scam, because I’ve never met anyone that’s actually played this game (therefore it isn’t real)
