We also need an increased working population paying into our social insurance fund to support our top-heavy state pensions but yes, we must stop people working here

There's some interesting shit in this but a) ffs WHY would they not split out the quite-parliamentarily-large group of Leninist parties? and b) a poll saying we are a 5% swing from "destroy everything" does not exactly support our political class's gigantic 'we are immune from eurofash' smugness
The more I look at it, the more this graph at the end of my most recent Gist explains the behaviour of so many of Ireland's political parties. SF, for example, simply can't deal with 50% of its supporters looking to strengthen institutions while the other 50% want to blow them up.

The free rider problem is the defining factor in whether someone is left or right wing, this is because if you think free riders are a problem you tend not to be intellectually curious enough to understand long chains of cause and effect.
No system is perfect, yes some people might "cheat", but would you rather people who desperately need these things go on suffering so you can be SURE you're not being duped? Why is you not being duped so important that other people have to die for it?

Culture Night in Cork pub: 60ish cpl come in (battered), himself wants to know if they've "anything like Heineken". Informed that they have Heineken, which more or less qualifies, he asks 'do you have anything else?'

It’s very simple. A reality TV host became dictator because he turned down a role for Sharknado 4 and that’s why the king of outer space, who cheats at Diablo, got to kill Africa. Now the economy is controlled by a sex cult that has something to do with Harry Potter fanfic because of robots.

David Heinemeier Hansson called for the extermination of Romani people, comparing them to animals. An entire roster of tech tycoons responded by each personally giving him $1 million for his open source software project, even though he’s already wealthy enough to have a personal race car team.

If any mathematicians are on the fence about coming out against Ai for doing nothing more than just stealing the best bit of craic of being a mathematician i.e. solving theorems then I think this is a legit reason to oppose ai and I will support you.

The media moving to Manchester/Salford has made their attitudes and views towards 'the north' worse. They're in the most southern part of the north and they think they're gritty and edgy for it.

lmao at sn event where (Cloudflare CEO) Matt Prince just offhandedly mentioned he’s getting divorced, and… nothing could be less surprising. We *already knew* you were writing million-dollar checks to Nazis, man.

The purpose of this was never to push far-right propaganda to a large audience. The purpose of this is to delete all widely-available information sources which are not far-right propaganda. To its owners, this is *success*, not failure
