Thing about Talarico I find really interesting is that he's changed his *explanation* for why he voted against the trans healthcare ban in Texas. In 2023, he said it was because the bill targeted trans people. In 2026, he now says he voted against it because it affected people who weren't trans.

heisenberg's leftist: simultaneously not important enough to accept their policy demands, but important enough that they can "throw" the election
"We can strategically afford to throw this election to send a message for an election 6 years from now" is not a viable strategy when Trump and large parts of the GOP are actively working to end future free and fair elections and very well could if they win again. There could be no next election.
