Some thoughts on the Grenfell criminal process here.

This week’s news is an important milestone in the process. But that’s all it is: the end of the process remains a very long way off:

It’s round-up week once more and this time we start with a major milestone in the police investigation into the Grenfell fire

A landlord making £100,000 a month says young people have “no excuse to be poor”.

Excellent. I love financial advice.

Gather round, children, let's examine how he himself stopped being poor.

literally thousands of jobs in higher education were cut *last year alone* and there's been almost no media coverage and no government action
I think it's absolutely mad that today there's a *national news story* about 400 oil platform workers losing their jobs, and the government being blamed.

25% of the UK TV industry lost their jobs in the last 4 years and we never hear a peep about it!

Some jobs are 'real jobs' I guess.

I pitched a show two years ago about this to Radio 4, to tie in with the release. They said they had already made a programme about computers fairly recently.
“Grand Theft Auto VI” is about to be the biggest pop media event of the year, if not the decade. The data backs this up.

Market intelligence firm Sensor Tower estimates “GTA VI” has already received about 4.6 million preorders.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.
