#TraffickingSurvivors need #immigration protection to rebuild their lives. In FY2025, USCIS approved just 1,398 T visas out of 5,000 available that year. USCIS should devote resources to adjudicating #TVisa applications, rather than arresting & detaining trafficking survivors.

Trafficking survivors in the U.S. need protection. In Jan. 2025, USCIS processing time for T visas - special visas for #traffickingvictims - was 19 months. Now, just one year later, the processing time has surged to 27 months. This is an eternity for survivors, who must wait in limbo without status.

USCIS has released new processing times for T visas, a form of immigration relief reserved for #traffickingsurvivors. The processing times have jumped to 26.5 months, up from just 19 months in January 2025. These delays put #survivors at risk, forcing them to live in fear.
