What a horrific story.
Democrat congressional candidate Bernadette Greene-Placentia was hit over the head and raped in Maricopa County while repairing a damaged campaign sign in August.

"I need to let women know that it's okay to talk about it," she told me.

wow -- Fox Business is now treating Trump's completely made up economic boasts as though they are factual. Note the citation here -- "The White House"

Reminder that the entire US economy is about $32t. If we really had $21t flowing in, you'd notice it

Fox thinks their viewers are really dumb

Thanks to the discoveries recognised by the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2026, chemists have gained fundamental new tools but, above all, these discoveries have contributed to solving one of chemistry’s greatest mysteries: how homochirality – like that found in all living beings – can be created.

Had such a lovely weekend seeing Phish at Boardwalk Hall Fri-Sat-Sun. It's hard to believe that those three nights on the floor for the Halloween run were from (gulp) 13 years ago now. They are still so vivid in my mind. (And 11/1/13 remains a tremendously sick show.)

So last night I had my first experience of being aggressively grabbed (well, to be more specific, the water bottle in my back pocket under my sweatshirt being aggressively grabbed) by a guy, and I must say I did not particularly enjoy that way of trying to get my attention.

Hilarious as it is that Trump posted Senator Cotton's personal number publicly, best not to miss that there's a very definite message there, too, which is not funny at all.

Rahm has no place in the "No Assholes Allowed" Democratic Party we should all be working toward: We don't promote them, we don't listen to them, and we for damn sure don't nominate them for President.
I know Rahm Emanuel. I worked with him for years in the Clinton administration, and then when he was Obama’s chief of staff.

Rahm Emanuel represents everything that’s been wrong about the Democratic Party for the last 30+ years.

Be warned. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/the-rahm-bomb

The first election I voted in was for Ann Richards as Texas Governor. She won--barely--against a man who on the record said that his advice to women being raped was to "relax and enjoy it."

The main difference between then and now is that today he'd still win.
