Op Epic Fury escalated an already tense standoff w Iran into broader regional conflict, and many innocent people — from travelers in Gulf hubs to consumers at the gas pump — will pay the price. Bad timing too — it hits a region already on edge and a global economy still vulnerable to energy shocks.

We can learn from the way race scientists sought legitimacy and got it through the academy, as detailed in Superior: The Return of Race Science, by Angela Saini.
