NEW: A federal judge in Rhode Island ruled that the gutting of the Institute of Museum & Library Services is likely unlawful. This is the SECOND federal court to rule against the slashing of the only federal agency dedicated to library funding.

As a future school and children's librarian, I believe libraries are vital community centers providing access to information, promoting literacy, supporting education, and offering inclusive spaces for all, regardless of background or financial status. Library funding is crucial. #forourlibraries

I care about libraries. Library visits kept me sane when I had a toddler. Libby & Hoopla allowed me to read books without breaking the budget.
Not everyone has internet. Libraries give them access.
