As far as I can find, the Women's Tennis Association is the only major women’s sports league to require genetic sex testing.

I didn’t know that my #intersex variation has its own awareness day.
I was diagnosed with Klinefelter “syndrome” at 17 through genetic testing (karyotyping). Yes, it affects my body and metabolism, but it does not determine my cognitive abilities, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

May 10th is Klinefelter Awareness Day - did you know there are people born with XXY chromosomes, instead of XY? Far from being rare, Klinefelter Syndrome is as common as 1 in 500 babies who are assigned male at birth.
