🧬 There is no one-size-fits-all pipeline for insect genomes.

Tiny bodies can mean very little DNA. Genome size, repetitive DNA, high heterozygosity & complex microbiomes can all create challenges.

Researchers are developing new approaches to unlock genomes across the Tree of Life. 🌳
