Imagine watching this some time ago… Friend and contributor @freddyb-aviation.bsky.social sent us these photos he took yesterday at Edwards AFB showing the X-59 with a chase. It made a few high fast passes and the boom was almost hard to hear. “Whatever NASA and Lockheed did, it was quiet!” he added

I just watched a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cum in Krang's mouth. They just hit send on this site and went home for the day. Amazing.

we should all aspire to the level of not working that congress people do
House GOP leaders cancel votes on Thursday - sending lawmakers home later today until after the elections. That means the House can avoid a vote on the Hegseth impeachment plan from Rep. Thomas Massie R-KY.

Ok I've seen enough. The ai guys are in a millenarian apocalyptic cult. They convinced themselves they were too smart for religion and then looped right around into creating a machine god. No more to it than that.

Now that everyone has turned on Ed Sheeran I finally feel comfortable saying this: you shouldn’t be allowed to get a bunch of tattoos if you’re a musician who makes wuss music

I've been seeing a lot more of Ed Sheeran's horrifically scraggly hair these last few days than I generally like to and I'm looking forward to going back to not having to do that

Nine Inch Nails' debut single "Down In It" was released on this day in 1989. If you've never seen it, this 1991 "Hard Copy" segment is a hilarious piece of lore about a camera lost during the filming of the music video that resulted in the FBI launching a murder investigation:

its not only the colors, Physical bloom/Halation gets also lost and I remember fondly how bloomy and dreamy these were back then.
The Disney renaissance movies used to look different. They were planned to be printed on 35 mm film -- that's how they were first released.

Modern editions skip that last step in the process. It was a highly developed, overlooked craft, as we explore:

Streamline moderne is where it's really at. Art deco can be a fussy esp when the Egyptian motifs are heavy, a lot of esp later MCM is very your grandparents' house, but streamline moderne takes the best of both and cranks it way up until you're looking at the future even though it's 90 years old

Not to be overly reverential about the place or the position but it's weird that you can force the closure a congressionally designated presidential memorial bc you don't like it. I don't think I'm ever going to get used to the way he acts like he owns the District of Columbia and everything in it

1) I need to know how many documented instances there are of "Person was trafficked into a bestiality ring, escaped, and then tried to join the FBI"

2) After all this, Kash ends with "No of course you can't be in the FBI if you've had sex with an animal" The fuck have you just been talking about??
PATEL: The previous regulation automatically disqualified any individual who participated in either side of it

KENNEDY: Either side of beastiality? So you disqualified the animal?

P: Well, we have great canines, but we're not going to disqualify them

K: I'm trying to understand why you did this.
