Black people aren't monolithic nor should one's impression of where they reside on the Internet. Here, I make the case that focusing on numbers is a failure to put quality over quantity and ignores benefits for more curated online Black communities.

Of course there's more Black people on a platform that holds a billion people and has been around for twenty years. Expecting the same experience across different platforms with different profit (and sustainable) incentives is naive, disrespectful and dangerous.
