A new friend wrote me a beautiful note and her words captured what I've been feeling. An urgency arising out of a gratitude for this one life we have, one that doesn't last all that long.

I am grateful and blessed to have met you - even if it's not yet in person.

Martin Buber, in his book -- "I and Thou" wrote the first words I laid upon my photograph here "All real living is meeting ". My reflection on Monday is about that.

Martin Buber left this world in 1965 and yet I think I know his soul.

I'm again witnessing gross behaviour by men who are calling themselves victims because they are white. They're claiming lack of opportunity and are striking out in hateful, harmful ways. ENOUGH!
