$1 Trillion.

Elon could spend $1M/day for nearly 2,740 years before running out of money.

But let’s face it, given his lifestyle and expenses, it’s conceivable that he does spend $1M/day sometimes.

So, just do the math at $10M/day and you get 274 years — older than America.

#math #spacex #elon
The world is utterly batshit insane when someone can be an actual TRILLIONAIRE!!

You could spend $1 million a day and it would take you 27 centuries to spend it all

Scott Pelley had apparently never heard of Bari Weiss before her appointment at CBS, and that makes this takedown all the more brutal. No old Twitter grudges, no sides-taking in thediscourse wars. Just his considered observation of her incompetence, carelessness, venality and disrespect.

Somehow, I’m not shocked by this.

And yet, I still facepalmed so hard I think I shifted one of my cervical vertebrae.

I don’t think people understand that the rules changed on this, specifically, to allow ETFs to invest in SpaceX “after 15 days of profitability,” as opposed to the previous “4 quarters” rule.

Your 401k is going to be investing in this whether you like it or not.

This too harkens back to my point about 1,000 millionaires being better than 1 billionaire because it’s about spreading the wealth around.
I fear that imposing taxes and regulation as solutions centralizes power which is as corrupting as centralizing wealth. There is a better way:

This just simply isn’t true. California, alone, imports about 20% of its oil (petroleum, gasoline, jet fuel).

Funny how people reply to this with responses that a majority Israelis support Netanyahu, which makes Israel, the county (and, by extension anyone who supports Israel), evil. Yet, these same people rail against “collective punishment.”

Remind me, WHICH POPULATION VOTED, OVERWHELMINGLY, FOR HAMAS?
Please do not conflate Netanyahu’s lies and corruption with the State of Israel writ large unless you want everyone to conflate Trump’s lies and corruption with the entirety of this country writ large.

I didn’t vote for Trump. But he was elected. Doesn’t mean he speaks for me or acts for me.

Meta’s analysis that it can avoid scrutiny by releasing a privacy invasive product during a time of political crisis is craven and morally bankrupt. It is also dead wrong.

NEW: The Justice Department published dozens of unredacted images of nude women (and possibly teens) as part of its Epstein release.

The faces of those people were also left unredacted.

I’ve been off this app for a while because the blocking feature renders it unusable, IMHO.

E.g. a few people recently liked my posts from last year where I challenged or debunked lies about #bitcoin, but I’m unable to see what the OP wrote because they either blocked me or deleted what they said.
