Soon to be ex-Tory voter unsure who to vote for on 1st of May?

Here's why I harp on about education.

Civic studies should join critical thinking our kids now start at 8.

Reform tax cuts = no public services

@libdems.org.uk For a Fair Deal and efficient working public services.
Writing up notes from a public engagement event I worked on, and it is *interesting* how few people were confident about:
(a) what a public service is
(b) who it is for
(c) how it is paid for
Some thought a supermarket or an airline might be a public service because they are publicly available

F-off Putin, Russia and Russians deserve better than you.

What a shame and a shambles. We all know this means many many Ukrainians too and the lives of their families and loved ones changed forever.

Endless war must stop or be stopped by a greater effort to impose a no-fly-zone over Ukraine
Russia has now lost 1,510,000 soldiers over 4.5 years in Ukraine.
Ukraine intercepted or disabled nearly 2,000 drones in 24 hours. Is there any other nation on Earth capable of repelling such drone swarms? It could be catastrophic when Russia attacks a NATO member.

Extreme heat is hitting communities across the country, yet Andy Burnham has been bafflingly silent.

After the UK’s hottest summer on record, we need to see far more action.

We need cross-party talks to protect Britain from worsening extreme weather.

Officially, the water industry in England is regulated. Practically, it's unregulated. There's no difference between what it does under the eye of the Environment Agency and what it would do if the EA did not exist. The EA is completely useless, by design. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

Preparing communities for extreme weather while moving away from fossil fuels and protecting families, farmers, the NHS and our economy.

This is no minor detail. It's a key safeguard in a worl where we're resource poor, changing systems with too few staff to meet demand. Mistakes will happen, must be monitored, remedied at speed, to stop them embedding in cover-up. Perfect's not possible but best effort in good faith. We need that.
Healthwatch is a lifeline for patients and families, helping prevent another NHS safety scandal.

Labour’s Health Bill takes an axe to vital protections.

Andy Burnham has backed Healthwatch before. He must do so again, fix the Bill and put patient safety first.

This is a stark warning: the climate emergency is here, yet the Government moves at a snail’s pace.

It's time for a national strategy: funding cool hubs for vulnerable groups, mandating cooling and ventilation in new homes, supporting drought-affected farmers and heat-proofing NHS facilities.

This is the moment for Andy Burnham's new government to replace the water regulator as our Water Authority. That's what the Emergency needs to mandate water companies to stop leaks and sewage, support farmers with engineering muscle for water storage in ponds, lakes and reservoirs and EA in nature.

It's so very hard to believe we are still letting Putin rain munitions in Kyiv after for years.

Everyone in control of decisions needs to focus.Putin is not for giving up. We must stop his munitions killing Ukrainians by night. He's not like a fairy tale monster. He is evil.

Will the Liberal Democrats press the PM to refuse this option?
