We basically bet the whole economy on the most optimistic visions panning out.

Part of why I don't like the AI-or-bust economy is the constant flopsweat of people on the news who say this HAS to work. Quit making everyone so anxious. Goddamn. If this is the next Google then why are you acting like this? I don't remember being told to buy an iPhone at gunpoint.

foul balls are a huge concern for major league baseball. fans typically keep the ones they catch, and there's not exactly any good reason to buy a ticket to a baseball game if you have your own baseball at home you can look at anytime you want

Played 6 games of Street Brawl. In the first 5, me and my friends were matched against a Rat King and got varying degrees of walloped. I'm the 6th, I got Rat King and we 3-0'd them. Seems strong!

I know her design is The Boring One of the options for voting in Deadlock atm, but Violet's ruined poster having a monster drawn over her (when everyone elses is mostly just a normal destroyed poster w/ some easter eggs) gives me hope she's got an interesting kit

Speaking as someone who casually watched Deadlock prior to the latest update: it's very funny watching pre-patch games and realizing the city used to be 20% actual designed buildings and 80% glorified grey boxes with windows and "HOSPITAL" written on them in bold letters.
