I’m going to spend half the year thinking Taron Johnson is on offense and returning kicks.
(I know it’s Davis and I know Johnson was released, but still I get confused)

I am proud and fond that I binged Matlock the old fashioned way. During a summer in college. 2 episodes a day on the Hallmark Channel with commercials. I do not think I would have enjoyed it as much watching it all commercial free in 2 weeks.
It’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better

@jonbois.bsky.social Your concept of supperjumpin (happy early 13th anniversary www.sbnation.com/2013/7/25/45...). I mainly work out of Panera, but have never brought an outside meal until today when I brought a sub from Wegman’s with me to eat. Quite easy on the supperjump scale.

This sent me down a rabbit hole. I recognize Shiri Appleby from Roswell. Sunday Dinner, a 1991 show produced by Norman Lear starring Robert Loggia & Teri Hatcher. It lasted 6 episodes. This also had Kari Lizer, who I know from Matlock, who I did not know created The New Adventures of Old Christine

Taylor Swift hugging Olivia Benson, as she does.
Mariska doing a matinee and a 7 pm performance of her one-woman Broadway show and then watching the greatest comeback in Finals history actually looks like the Jordan flu game

I can tell you why I enjoy Cars so much.
1) Cars are cool.
2) Paul Newman >>>
3) I understand movies can't be all sunshine and rainbows. Cars has the most reasonable and logical conflict of any Disney movie. Hot shot racer, doesn't like being in a small town, learns from it.

I didn't need to hit play to know this is Randolph Mantooth. Emergency >>>> Love John Gage.
(Research tells me this is Operation Petticoat. Submarine adventures with a cast at times included John Astin, Jim Varney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jo Anne Pflug. Would watch.)

I was soon to be graduating college. The last time they made the playoffs I was engaged. Now I am married with 3 kids. I took my son to Game 1. This rules. 🥲
What were you doing the last time the Sabres won a playoff series? I was a 1L in state college studying for finals. The place I watched them beat the islanders has been a noodle joint for like 15 years

In one of the most Buffalo experiences ever, I am currently at a meat raffle while watching the Sabres game. I did manage to win something. Winner winner chicken dinner.

I went to Easter Vigil mass last night as I have done for most of my life. I enjoy it even if it’s longer than the typical mass. I like Night Church. I like watching people become Catholic. What I did not Iike last night was music. The singer last night was not at all what church singing should be.
