Mark Carney's approval rating is actually the *inverse* of Donald Trump's.

CARNEY: 70/30 approve/disapprove
TRUMP: 30/70 approve/disapprove

Apparently, competence doesn't go unnoticed in either country.

Lot of issues here but one part that sticks out in light of the almost-attacked-a-Chinese-ship story today: people with very important jobs where lives are at stake have bought the hype and outsourced their whole brains to AI. We're going to see more and more of this.

French far-right logic:

1) Endorse Trump and cheer on his war against Iran

2) Watch oil prices inevitably skyrocket

3) Blame Macron for the high gas prices

Step 1: Slip Trump a copy of the 1951 Defense Agreement, but with the name changed.
Step 2: Describe it in the most favorable light possible, since he won't read it anyway.
Step 3: Trump goes on "Truth Social" and proclaims himself a genius negotiator.
Trump: "We will immediately begin the process of developing a large Military presence in the appropriate part of Greenland, of which there are many"

More U.S. troops have died amid Iran war than Pentagon has disclosed publicly
Officials who spoke with The Post expressed frustration that the additional loss of life in the Middle East is not reflected in the Defense Department’s casualty database.

This is the Republican Party. Corrupt as hell, constantly starting wars, blowing up the deficit, giving tax cuts for billionaires, bailing out corporations, cutting health care, making everything more expensive, while serving up culture war drivel to distract you from all that.

This is straight-up evil. Yom Kippur is on Monday — the moral contradiction is impossible to ignore.

📌 REUTERS: Israeli settlers set fire to olive groves in the town of Burqa in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, according to local Palestinian residents. Burned trees that are “thousands of years” old.

WAPO is reporting that at least four more service members have died in the war in Iran than DOD is publicly acknowledging.

CNN is reporting that the US almost seized a Chinese vessel because AI incorrectly identified it as containing Iranian nuclear material.

Clown show.

I know this won’t happen, but the entire WH press corps should walk out. Trump craves attention and is obsessed with his coverage. Not covering his Oval Office Lie Sessions would hurt him more than just about anything.
