I head to Vermont this week. Excited to take a trip with my son and youngest daughter. Trying to stay positive. My daughter is heading off to law school and permanent residence on the east coast. So proud of her, but man it hurts knowing she'll be so far away.

Probably one of the saddest things I've noticed about my social media posts. Post beautiful pics of our national parks or monuments and i get countless likes and loves. Ask that they be protected..... crickets 💔😞

#1 on my bucket list for hiking vacations was southern Utah. I've since taken two vacations there. And it's still #1 on my bucket list. The most extraordinarily amazing landscape and geology. Absolutely breathtaking. And with today's news of Grand Staircase and Bear's Ears, I'm heartbroken. 💔💔💔

Sooooo..... pretty much had to give up trail running. I was absolutely horrible at it, I was slow, cumbersome, awkward at best. But I so much loved it. But with my knee situation, I decided to pursue a cardio that's less impacting to the knee. So I bought a mountain bike!

Wrapped up a five day hiking vacation. Hocking Hills and Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. Absolutely magnificent! We did have a swing and a miss at Indiana Dunes, but will definitely be going back to try again. Man I love hitting the trails ❤️

I had a financial "hiccup" a few years ago that really impacted my retirement funds (divorce). But, as long as everything went ok I'd be able to retire comfortably. Then the worst of the nation elected the absolute worst of the nation and I'll probably work until I die. Fukn awesome.
