I appreciate things like Steam mandating AI slop disclosures because I've learned that some people are about as trustworthy owning up to pushing slop as predators are with consent.

I just spoke at Leisure World (retirement community) in Seal Beach, and the grandmas are out for blood. Loudest round of applause I got was when I said “a lot of these problems will take generations to fix, but one thing we can do right away is hold everyone in this administration accountable”
I had not seen this clip where Tammy Duckworth advises Democrats to "not impeach anybody," "get back to work" and "allow" Donald Trump to "save face" and I would just like to remind the senator from IL that the federal government took 4,000 Chicagoans and murdered a 38-year-old father last fall.

This is easily answered. Bomb disposal experts are those that get to attempt it twice.
Can I go slightly off-topic? Why are bomb disposal operatives always described as bomb disposal EXPERTS? I mean, is there a lower level of personnel called bomb disposal CLOWNS? Or bomb disposal NOT VERY GOOD STAFF? Do they use these when it doesn't matter if there's an explosion and people die?

I think people (not talking about Steve here) make a lot of assumptions about the rationality or forethought behind massive deals or investments, and think companies have plans, or strategies. In reality tens of billions can be spent because of the vibes

Democrats are well positioned to inherit power thanks to disgust with Trump, but ultimately none of this is about what Dems did in response to Trump. They mostly capitulated and are benefiting from being the other party in a two party system, I don’t have any positive expectations for them.
