When people learn that I work at a board game company one of their first questions is "Do you play board games at the office all day?"
Which...yeah, we do, but that's really reductive. There are good parts of the job as well.

Tonight I'm going to see "Distant Voices, Still Lives," Terence Davies' gutting 1988 film about a family under the thumb of a tyrannical and abusive father. A coworker asked me if I was seeing Resident Evil this weekend and I was like "you could say that, yes."
