1/3 of what’s on our vine. Insanely good harvest this year and so sweet. Variety “Boscoup Glory” an excellent all rounder grape for our Sussex climate.

We have just bought a chest freezer!!!
I am, of course, ridiculously excited about batch cooking all our home grown produce for the winter. I will have to balance out all this middle aged-ness by going to a rave with my son…

Dry isn’t it, and no rain forecast for 10 days in Sussex. I’m going to have arms like a shot putter from carrying watering cans (there’s a hosepipe ban again 🙄).

Wisteria in the sunshine. Heady sweet and almost spicy scent. Do have a sniff if you’re walking past one.

Another grape atrocity. I feel like we need to express this rage. You know how we cheered clapped and banged pots every Thursday in covid. We need a time and date to stand at our back door and scream. Imagine the release if hundreds of women across our communities could hear and be part of that.

Can’t stop thinking about Tracy Emin. Went to the exhibition at the Tate Modern yesterday morning. It was incredible, raw fearless truth. Brought me to tears actually.
