Dear Allies,

Saying things like:

“But you don’t LOOK like a trans woman!”

Is NOT a compliment and NOT something to say to someone.

It is a demeaning slight towards all trans women and tells us that YOU don’t view diverse bodies as valid.

Regardless of if you stream or not you NEED to turn this setting off IMMEDIATELY!

And be sure to keep sending messages to Twitch that you do NOT want this to exist.

And another reminder that if you do stream on Twitch, you should start preparing you and your audiences to migrate elsewhere ASAP.

I've got 20 years of experience in animation/games as a producer, director, social/community & marketing manager.

Since coming out as a trans woman I often get "you don't have enough experience, sorry!" in response to my applications.

A cis ally advocating for me would genuinely help me get work.

speaking generally, I think the no. 1 thing you can do as a cis ally is help a trans woman get a job

Over the course of the last 3 months people on Instagram/TikTok have used me posting this video as an invitation to:

- Send death threats
- Send dick pics
- Flood the comments with transphobic and racist rhetoric

At least 1 hour every day since has had me cleaning the comments and blocking people.

So here we are! Yama the cat and Kdin the human 12 years later. Yama is still the same, and I've uh... changed a lot!
