Many thanks to Paula & Jerry Goldman and their neighbors in Savannah Lakes for an engaging conversation! We discussed data centers, gun violence, healthcare, education and many other issues that affect McCormick County and all of South Carolina.

Does this help with the rising unemployment rate in South Carolina?

Does this make medical care more affordable?

Is this making childcare more accessible to working families?

Does this improve education outcomes in our public schools?

No matter how high the Good Lord sets the thermostat, we're going to be out knocking doors to make sure people learn about this campaign!

p.s. This is the "before" photo. I refused to allow an "after" photo after spending 90 minutes in 95° temps! It wasn't pretty

Towards the end of my 2024 campaign, Greenwood SC and surrounding areas were hit by Hurricane Helene. We're not used to hurricanes around here and thousands of trees fell, damaging homes, power lines and other structures.

How do we say we want people to be able to work and not need the system - but then we pull away the very benefits that can help people not need the system?

So let's talk some issues, shall we? Elder care isn't just my passion - it's my BUSINESS!

For South Carolina to be ranked 50th in the nation for elder abuse protections (go back and read that!) is not just embarrassing, it borders on criminal neglect by our Republican supermajority.

This pause on ABC Voucher enrollment was foolish and short-sighted. We're just now realizing the ripple effects of this decision in South Carolina.

FYI, I won't block anybody over differing political views. But if you cannot be respectful toward your fellow human beings, then you have no place on my timeline.

I will represent the best interests of all people of South Carolina Dist 12. But I do not need to entertain the words of hateful bigots.

Your actions are never in isolation.

And this includes your choice whether to vote or sit out an election. Either way has an impact on the people around you. Choose an action that can help others and yourself.

I've heard a lot of hype from our current state leadership about how South Carolina's economy is roaring.

But then again, our state is also 3rd on the list for receiving more $$$ from the federal government than we pay in ($33B more to be precise).

In 2024, Californians paid about $275.6 billion more to the federal government than they received.
