Trump’s fascist mass deportation agenda is costing Illinois' taxpayers $269 BILLION. Billions that could fund childcare, healthcare, and housing.

"I don't pay my taxes to buy another country a bomb or a tank.

That's Israel, that's Egypt, that's Saudi Arabia, that's Pakistan."

"My interest is making sure that our kids get good schools, that we have functional roads, that we're paying for things like healthcare and childcare."

I'm not sure later school start times are an equitable fix. Without funded childcare and 10am work schedules, families with inflexible jobs or shift workers like HCW who start early would be without childcare.

Trump on live TV claiming 7 months of war is "very little money, relatively speaking." Bro, we've spent $47 BILLION on Iran so far. He cut childcare because it's "too pricey," but 47 BILLION dollars is small change to a billionaire? Absolute nuclear delusion.

RUTHLESS TRUMP CUT CHILDCARE & CAREGIVING FUNDING WHILE CONGRESS RUBBER-STAMPED IT!

Let's make caring more affordable by VOTING for The Big Beautiful #BlueWaveInOneDay 💙

Taking care of children, parents and loved ones shouldn’t consume a family’s paycheck.

Hes got a 10yo SEND kid and covers all childcare so it’s possible. Childcare is just another level, it’s the only factor that actually sways me in similar stories.

I was glad this addressed the invisible childcare happening in the movie, which I was distracted by the whole time
The New York Times subplot of You Can See Everything is such a microcosm of the whole movie for me. How much do I trust Elizabeth Holmes? How much do I trust Nathan Fielder? How much do I trust a New York Times reporter?

Your utility bill keeps going up. Childcare costs more than your mortgage. Groceries are unaffordable. Stephanie Walsh is running to fix it — more affordable housing, stable school funding, lower costs for families and small businesses. AZ should work for you.
Vote for Walsh!

Hayley Stevens is NOT incensed on behalf of Black people.

What's her ACTUAL policy platform?

Is she pro UBI?
Is she pro Medicare 4 All?
Is she calling for FREE childcare?

All of these policies would benefit Black people...

Something scary is in the air:

The 700 most profitable corporations are paying the LOWEST effective tax rate in at least 40 years.

Republicans are helping mega corporations STEAL our tax dollars instead of investing in healthcare or childcare. We have to end this nightmare.

Colorado’s tax reform would:

• Cut taxes for most taxpayers.
• Raise taxes on the highest incomes.
• Fund schools, healthcare and childcare.

Corporate interests’ counteroffer: a lawsuit to take the choice away.

3+ hours to vote is straight up prohibitive for wide swathes of people. From people with mobility challenges to childcare concerns.

Or how housing, healthcare, childcare and cost of living are #ProChoice issues
I mean, it is true that Ireland's population isn't growing quickly enough, but no one who loudly complains about the birthrate ever wants to hear the actual solution (more immigration)

One year ago, New Mexico became the first state in the nation to offer no-cost universal childcare.

As Roosevelt's Lena Bilik wrote last year, this was a historic first step. Now it's time for federal lawmakers to follow New Mexico's lead and deliver universal childcare nationwide. 🧵

VOTE BLUE AND PUT AFFORDABILITY FIRST 💰

Groceries.
Gas.
Utilities.
Housing.
Healthcare.
Childcare.

Democrats have built their agenda around bringing down the everyday costs families actually pay.

Not culture-war distractions.
Not men's asses.
Not the Cheesecake Factory.
Not the NFL.
